Meaningful link text tells the user what they should expect to find if they click a link and gives screen reader users the information they’ve told the screen reader to announce only the links (a common efficiency shortcut).
Besides being a poor user experience practice, linking “click here” or the full url can hide important information from screen reader users. Besides, “Click here” assumes users are using a mouse, not a touch screen or some other device, so it’s not particularly inclusive.
